Hand Crafted Photographic Art

Hand Crafted Photographic Art"Pier-o-rific" installed in a home! Hand crafted using a hardwood backing, special printing on archival illuminescent paper and sealed with a high gloss crystal clear polymer resin. The photos don't do it justice!
The Dream:
As many of you know, I am a Los Angeles based photographer who has lived in SoCal most of my life. This year, following a dream, I have transformed my passion for photography into my primary business! I love working with my hands almost as much as working with a camera, and as an artist, I wanted to offer more to my collectors than traditional framed or canvas prints. My belief is that thefinal physical photographic print is the end result of all the planning, traveling, capturing and developing of the image, so I needed it to reflect my specific vision!

The Exploration:
So, set out on a quest to find the perfect way to display my photographs. Over the course of the last six months, I have experimented with printing with almost every lab you could name, on every kind of paper available, brainstorming, studying art and visiting art exhibits in search of inspiration that will allow me to bring my vision to life. In every situation, everything that I was able to purchase from commercial labs, or saw in the marketplace, as nice as they were, seemed to fall short.

The Result:
I am proud to say that through all of my learning and discovery, I have developed a product that marries the best of all worlds and delivers a large, vibrant, frameless photograph on a hardwood foundation which breaks the mold of a traditional photographic display. I drew upon my history of working with fine art sculptors, bringing their works of art to life in different resin materials, and I knew that I wanted my art to be encapsulated in a special high gloss, crystal clear resin. This special resin allows the light to refract inside, as well as give it a finished wet look when ithas fully cured!  Not only does the resin do wonders for the viewing experience, but it also seals the entire piece, helping to keep it from being affected by changes in weather or inquiring fingers and noses!

Adding Value:
The final result is a truly unique piece of art that is signed, numbered and limited to an edition size of 50. I realize that art is an investment for many people, so as a benefit to collectors, the price will increase by 10% at each sales increment of 5.  This means, as each 5th piece is sold, the price will increase by 10%, ensuring that the value of art pieces already purchased will rise as well, thus protecting your investment.

Bring one Home!
Hopefully my excitement is coming through this post, it is truly a dream realized!  This exploration has been a labor of love, and I hope that everyone gets to own one or more of these for their home or office! All of the images in the Nature and Abstract galleries are able to be purchased! Remember, each piece is custom, and takes about 4 weeks to complete, so please be patient!  It is worth the wait!
